AJ Mak is Managing Partner of Aurox Capital. AJ Mak was previously CEO of Chain of Demand, an AI-powered analytics company backed by leading venture capital firms, specializing in alternative data and predictive modelling. The company provides advanced data analytics solutions and has partnered with prestigious enterprises such as Bloomberg, AB Bernstein, Cowen & Company, GOAT, and Li & Fung.

As a pioneer in AI-driven financial technology, Chain of Demand has forged partnerships across Asia, North America, and Europe, leveraging artificial intelligence to transform traditional investment analysis and unlock valuable market insights. AJ previously served as a Venture Partner at Vectr Ventures, offering strategic guidance and evaluating investment opportunities. He holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, an Algorithmic Trading Certification from Oxford University, and was named one of Prestige Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40.

Andrew H. Chen

Managing Partner

Andrew H. Chen is Managing Partner of Aurox Capital and Arion Ventures. Arion Ventures is a strategic advisory firm that provides various management consulting services including private placements and strategy consulting. Through this capacity he works closely with family offices, venture capital and private equity firms.

He also currently lectures a graduate course on emerging technology and entrepreneurship part-time at the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is an Entrepreneur In Residence at the PolyU Innohub. He also currently advises numerous other venture backed startups. Andrew also mentors at numerous other accelerators and incubators.

Prior, Andrew was the Founder and CEO of Menuscript. Previously he also worked as a corporate consultant, where he worked with a wide range of organisations to solve strategic issues. Through his engagements he has worked with early stage ventures, Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, non-profit organisations, and social enterprises.

Andrew grew up in Toronto, Canada, is a graduate of University of Toronto where he graduated with high distinction and currently has resided in Hong Kong for 20 years. In his spare time he volunteers within various causes focused on education and social services and mentors recent graduates and current students.
